I ran into some difficulty with a disturbed individual at the end of January and so I found a need to play possum until he got over his issues. I am not entirely certain he has found a new hobby, but I am hoping it is safe to begin working again. Except now I am not sure I want to return to creating fractals. I may jump about through media for a while before settling on a new expression of art. I need to work down my existing art supplies to reduce the amount to be packed if I need to move soon, so I may actually begin some projects that have been untouched for years. Anyway, I haven't abandoned dA. Not yet. :)

After updating firewall software, I was embarrassingly slow to discover that the update had blocked the rendering software from accessing network storage. Two machines have been busily rendering and then trashing their work on completion for at least a week. I think I will be able to regain the lost time, but it is frustrating. (Add the complication that a housemate's potentially psychotic boyfriend with a history of cyber harassment has recently taken me for a threat to his dominance of said housemate - it can be difficult to distinguish technical glitches from willful maliciousness.) I am nearing the end of my fascination with fractals. Wh
